Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Wisconsin

I am a shareholder and Dr. in a small clinic. A shareholder with 51% of say is not happy with how much money I make as an employee and with my business within the business. He a 2 employees are trying to replace me and then they would fill another Dr.'s schedule so I wouldn't have work and the clinic would make more. What rights do I have? Thank you. Donna

I would need to see your partnership agreement, employment contract, or other document which controls the conduct of business in your clinic before I could answer this question. However, since 51% is a majority, and the majority ownership controls in most joint ownership situations. You should therefore consider looking for alternate employment in the long run, although temporary solutions might also be available, depending upon your contract.

Answering this question does not make me your attorney, but you can post comments here for clarifications, etc. You can also see past answers to similar questions on AVVO at https://www.avvo.com/attorneys/53566-wi-jay-nixon-1529181/answers.html .
