Legal Question in Personal Injury in Wisconsin

injured working at someone's house

I am self employed and was injured working at someone's house. I do not have workman's comp. on myself. Is the homeowner at all liable for my medical bills? (They are less than $1000.) Thank you.

You might be covered under the medical payments coverage of the homeowner's insurance policy for the medical bills. I think it would depend upon the language of the insurance policy. There may be an exclusion for people who are working at the home.
