Re: trampoline injury

It is quite early to evaluate the extent of your son's injury. However, it would appear that your son has a substantial legal claim for his personal injury. It would be necessary to go over all the facts you have provided as well as many additional facts to determine how to best proceed. The main thing is that you need a good personal injury lawyer to advise you under these circumstances. We, as well as many other firms, have lawyers who engage in personal injury litigation. You should see such a lawyer with your son in the near future. Best regards in resolving this injury satisfactorily.

Re: trampoline injury

I am currently involved in another trampoline case involving a six year old who was at a friend's home for a sleep-over who suffered multiple fractures to her ankle, with multiple surgeries. Trampolines have caused thousands of injuries and the rules and guidelines are very often not followed, including netting, supervision, having only one person on the trampoline at a time, and others. I would suggest consulting with an experieneced personal injury attorney as soon as possible so that an adequate investigation can be done as to negligence by the homeowners. In that your child is a minor, under Wisconsin law he would normally have until his 20th birthday to either settle his case or commence a lawsuit. That being said, I would strongly recommend consulting with an attorney as soon as possible. Most experienced attorneys who handle personal injury cases will work on a contingency fee as to their fees, so that it will not cost you anything to retain or have the attorney work on your son's case.
