Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

There is apiece of land on a lake that 7 people have non-exclusive use for the purpoes of ingress and egress to the shores of this lake. This is how it is written in the deeds of the 7 people.Can this property legally be bauogt or sold without the written or vocal agreement of the 7 people or anyone with an adjoining lot?

Hello,

It is difficult to answer this question without knowing more, and reading the legal documents.

One thing I can say is that vocal or verbal agreements are not enforceable. If the 7 owners have property rights in deeds, it is not likely that those can be taken away. However, it may be that the land can be sold, but the 7 owners still have the right to go over it to get to the lake. Those are some guesses, but to get an opinion you can rely on you need to contact a local attorney.
