Re: Mortgage Satisfaction?

Hi: To show the satifaction of a mortgage you will want the mortgage holder to issue a "Satisfaction of Mortgage". That is the document you are looking for - not a quitclaim deed. The satisfaction should then be filed at the register of deeds for the county in which the property is located. The satisfaction then becomes part of the public record. Feel free to contact me if you require assistance generating that document.
