Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin
power of attorneys
I am selling a house in Puerto Rico and will like to know if a power of attorney issued here in Wisconsin will work in Puerto Rico. When the house sells I will give this power of attorney to my brother so he can sign the papers when the property is sold.

You will probably have to provide title insurance on the sale. You should contact the title company you will use to assure they will accept the form of the power of attorney you are attempting to use. If they want something else, they will tell you. Good luck!
