Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

rental agreement

I would like to know if there is a loophole or any way I can get out of this agreement. It is writen just like this.

I--name removed--agree to pay $350 to (name witheld) for monthly rent at the premises located at (address witheld) .It will be paid no later than the 2nd day of each month.

This is a one year agreement.

Dated 12th day of October, 2001

We both signed this. No other dates were included.

Re: rental agreement

If this is a residential lease in the state of Wisconsin,

you may have some hope to get out of it. Wisconsin

has an Administrative Code. Residential practices

are contained under Chapter Ag135. There are a number

of provisions that must be contained in a written

residential lease. You should see someone that is

familiar with these provisions. Good Luck.
