i have a freind whos a nanny at there house and they told her they can video record her if they have to can they do that without her consent

Video Taping Employees

In WI, employers generally have the right to monitor the activities of their employees while employees are on duty in their workplace by any electronic means. Consent is not required, although some employers give courtesy warnings. These general rules can be altered via employment contracts or collective bargaining agreements.
