Legal Question in Business Law in Wyoming

Money question

Im not sure if I entered the type question correctly. I am asking if anything legal could be done to me. When a senior in high school I was senior class president. After graduation I had a check that was given to me for like a 1000 for what was left over for my class from fundraisers and stuff. The money i guess is suppose to be used for future reunions. The check was just written to my name and I never signed any papers or anything. I had put the money in a savings account in my name. At the end of last year I ended up spending the money cause I ran into some financial problems. Some classmates found out that the money is no longer in the account. Another quick question, Can you do anything to a bank that discloses information about your personal accounts at that bank without your consent. Thank you.

Re: Money question

The money was given to you to hold in trust for the future use of your class, such as reunions. Those were not funds for your use. When you took those funds you did commit a crime (fruad, theft, etc. for which you could be prosecuted.) However, if you restore the funds it is not likely that you would suffer severe consequences. Earn back the money and place it into a savings account in the name of the class with withdrawal signatures required from at least two or three other class officers so that the temptation to wrongfully withdraw funds is more easily avoided.

Your second question is a breach of privacy question, and you can prosecute a bank for violating your right to privacy.
