Additional Information Arlene D. Kock has been a California family law attorney for over three decades. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1977 from the University of San Francisco Law School and has been in continuous practice since 1978.

Ms. Kock has had extensive experience representing clients in legal matters concerning divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, contempt, domestic partnership terminations, prenuptial agreements and post judgment motions. Her office is fully equipped to handle domestic partnership terminations, same sex marriage dissolutions and related non-marital child custody matters.

Arlene D. Kock's general practice experience is as extensive as her family law practice. She handles plaintiff personal injury, general civil litigation, juvenile law and felony and misdemeanor criminal law cases. She frequently appears in courts in the 10 Bay Area counties and has represented clients on legal matters in numerous other Northern California jurisdictions.

Ms. Kock is a member of both the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA). She is a past member of the ACBA board of directors and chair of the Lawyer Referral Service.

Ms. Kock served as Judge Pro Tem and court Commissioner Pro Tem in the Alameda County and Contra Costa County courts for more than a decade. In 1997she received a commendation of appreciation from the Alameda County Courts for her service as Temporary Judge.

Arlene D. Kock is an experienced litigator with both jury and non jury trial experience. Listed in Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who of Outstanding Women and Presidential Who's Who Among Business and Professional Achievers, she is widely recognized as a respected leader in her field of law.
