Additional Information Firm Focus and History

From the first visit in our office, we take the burden of difficult situations off our clients' shoulders. Most of our folks have worked all their lives for their families. Then a medical situation, a lost job, an un-expected calamity explodes their financial life. What was once a workable situation begins to take over the joy of living. That's where we come in. My goal is to shift the power from creditors and put it back into the hands of our clients, with me at the helm. If a person needs to get debt relief in Knoxville, Tennessee (including Blount, Sevier & Jefferson Counties) then I can help now. We usually have two concurrent Chapter 11 cases where we are representing the debtor in the office.

I left a mid-size firm to begin our firm on June 1, 1985. For the last 25 years we've grown to 4 lawyers providing a broad range of representation. We file and defend lawsuits in all State and Federal Courts, including litigation in the bankruptcy courts. We've now settled to two lawyers teamed with a reliable, efficient staff. Bankruptcy litigation, whether in Chapter 7 or Chapter 13, requires an understanding of the legal process and the emotional impact of financial difficulties. We have that understanding because we've helped hundreds of folks get debt relief.
