As an alumnus of IIT Delhi and an attorney by profession, I always wear two interesting caps, one of a passionate technologist and the other of a tough attorney and when the two get combined I get an interesting tagline "A technologist lawyer". Journey started long back when as an IT consultant, I had to brief attorneys for technology cases which, as you could very well imagine, was a real difficult job because they always screwed up the case technologically as they had no passion for technology and assimilating the two, technology and law, for them was a real challenge. It was then when I realized the urgent and strong need of a technology oriented lawyer. Today at least in India I am the best bet when it comes to handling a technology oriented/related lawsuit in a court of law. Other than technology, fighting against injustice has been a very strong reason for me to get into legal profession. I practice civil as well as criminal laws. I am at present Secretary of IIT Delhi Alumni Association and the head, legal sub-committee, PanIIT India. Have served IIT Delhi Alumni Association as secretary in 2007-08 and the senate (Governing Body) of IIT Delhi in 2008. I am a member of Supreme Court Bar Association.
