Laurie Washington

Laurie Washington is an Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC. Ms. Washington graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate education, she studied in Costa Rica and was an active member of Lambda Iota Tau Literary Honor Society. Ms. Washington earned her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law. Within her third year of law school, she began assisting clients as an intern at the Catholic Legal Assistance Ministry. There, she handled family law matters like guardianships, divorces and legal separations. At SLU, Ms. Washington also participated in moot court and civil practice courses. As secretary of the Woman's Law Association, Ms. Washington coordinated community service projects. After law school, Ms. Washington ventured into solo practice representing clients in family law related matters such as order of protection cases. Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, PC, Ms. Washington worked extensively with Legal Services of Eastern District of Missouri as an in-house volunteer attorney representing clients in an array of family law matters. Ms. Washington is located in the Union Office and focuses her practice on family law in the areas of divorce, child custody, paternity, child support and other domestic relations matters.
