Additional Information My communications practice involves regulatory, transactional and litigation projects for small and medium-sized businesses, both communications users and carriers – including new Voice Over Internet companies. On the regulatory side, at the FCC, I assist clients in obtaining licenses, I defend them in agency enforcement actions, I help them bring complaints against other carriers, and I represent them in rulemaking proceedings. On the business side, I draft and negotiate all types of communications agreements for carriers - like voice termination agreements, traffic agreements, and interconnection and peering agreements. I also represent other multi-location users of telecom services – such as trade associations, banks or title companies – in negotiating their contracts with carriers. I also do transactional projects, such as providing representation to companies planning network buildouts in foreign countries. Finally, I handle litigation for carriers and businesses that have telecom billing and contract disputes.
