Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I have rented my house .The agreement was signed for 24 months which I regret now .The person has been living for 6 months have not paid rent for 4 months .he is in no mood to pay the rent or vacate the house .what should be my next options.I m scared that legal process could take years .do they have fast track courts for these issues .(this person claims to be from dmk party now).

if you are scared of legal process you will loose your house. Send him a legal notice terminating the tenancy on ground of nonpayment of rent. and take steps to recover the possession by filing the case against him in the appropriate forum

Ms Dixit is correct. You should not be afraid of legal process. However, at this stage, you may send the demand notice directly without going to an Advocate.
