Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Respected Sir,

WE ARE TENANT IN MAHARASHTRA FROM 1961 & PAYING RENT OF RS: 26/M, BUT THE RENT RECEIPT WE ARE RECEIVING FROM OUR OWNER IN NAME OF MY UNCLE, WHO USE TO STAY FOR A SHORT PERIOD AT THE BEGINNING & MY FATHER IS ALSO EXPIRED 30 YRS AGO NOW IN 2007 MY MOM ALSO PAST AWAY & IN 2008 THE HOLE PROPERTY WHERE I'M TENANT GOT BURN DUE TO SHORT CIRCUIT WHICH WE WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVE EXACTLY WHAT WAS THE REASON & WITH THE PERMISSION OF MY OWNER I RE CONSTRUCTED THE SAID PROPERTY WHICH COSTED ME APPOX 4 TO 5 LAC. AND IN MEAN WHILE MY OWNER STARTED VISITING ME FREQUENTLY & STARTED DEMANDING INCREASING RENT OR VACANT THE PROPERTY AS OF NOW THE OWNER HAD SEND ME A NOTICE'S STATING THAT THIS HOUSE WAS IN YOUR UNCLE NAME & AS HE IS NOT LIVING HERE SO YOU HAVE TO VACANT THE PROPERTY. BUT I'M HAVING SOME MSEB BILL FROM THE BIGINNING WHICH ARE ON MY GRANDFATHER NAME, ALL MY BIRTH PROOFS ON SAME ADDRESS. AND LOT MORE THINGS WHICH I CAN PROOF THAT I'M STAYING HERE FROM MY BIRTH...

PLEASE POST YOUR OPINION HOW SHOULD I GET OUT OF THIS.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You have sufficient evidence to prove that you are a bonafide tenant of the house even though the landlord is issuing the rent receipt in the name of your uncle. Moreover, the landlord (owner) has given you permission (tacit approval) to renovate the damaged premises, recognizing your legal right to reside in the property. You should accordingly reply to the legal notice and forward a copy of the reply to your landlord, with :

1. Self attested true copies of your father's and mother's Death Certificate :

2. A request letter that the rent receipts should be issued in your name.
