Legal Question in Consumer Law in United Arab Emirates

Good day.

I bought a very expensive watch in the one store. During three years of use, this watch was constantly breaking down and had been sent to the producer on repair. Watch always sentt on repair through the shop. The last inspection showed that the watch no longer be repaired by my fault and they suggested me to buy another model . But I want to get my money back since this watch had troubles since the first day.Who must pay me back for the defective product? Shop or manufacturer?

Thank you!

Dear Sir / Madam,

If the watch gave you trouble right from the first day, you ought to have visited the shop from where you purchased it the very next day, and got a replacement for it the very next day itself. At most, you can request the shop keeper / producer to give you a new watch and adjust a fair salvage value of the damaged watch from the cost of the new watch. Getting a full refund of the cost of the watch from the shop or manufacturer is out of the question and is ruled out.

Regards,
