Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
An FIR under IPC 279 has been lodged against my husband after an accident with MLA vehicle whereas his driver was rash and negligent . The SHO worked as his agent and asked us to pay 5000 rs and on refusal cnfiscated our car. He refused to lodge our FIR and we have given application to S P Solan , HP also. But it seems might is alway.s right. Please guide us for further action.

you can send a complaint to them by post and a copy to the SP. if they dont act then move a petition under sec 156(3) for registering of the FIR.
