Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
if a trail court give sentence for 4years then we can appeal for higher court but i want to know whether we can get bail or not ? and what the name of this bail?

you can file an appeal before the higher court and seek suspension of sentence.

Suspension of sentence may happen upon conviction, if punishment is not more than 3 years. Sentence may be suspended by trial court for enabling the accused to approach appellate court and obtain necessary orders.
If punishment is more than 3 years, then accused need to approach appellate court for release and till that time accused will be kept in custody.
