Legal Question in Education Law in India

Hi I finished my bachelor degree from University of Ballarat in Austalia. In Information Technologty. The duration for degree from University is for 3 years. When I went to Australia first time I did my diploma in IT. Later I enrolled in Bachelor of Information Technology. University asked me about my previous education so I mentioned my Diploma and My subject I had studied. so I was told that first year of bachelor has the same subject exactly as my diploma. So instead of studying same subject again they will give me credits. which means I don't have to waste one year studying the same subjects again with that time. They enrolled me in 3rd semester and I finished my 3 years bachelor.

Now I came to india and want to pursue master but in indian system I have to study 3 years for bachelor as per AIU, People who validates overseas degree. So system here tells me I have to study for 3 years for bachelor degree... I don't get the point?? is there any law, or proper explanation for this? Is there any system which tells, if and how the person gets valid graduation degree. There has to be a law which will say if 10+2+3 is graduate or 10+2+1+2 is graduate, or 10+2+4 is graduate.?? Please help, if they don't validate my degree then What options I have? Do i have to do all over again? 3 Years??

Dear Sir / Madam,

You have not mentioned the duration of your diploma in IT in Australia.

The quality of education in India, especially IT, is the best, as compared to any other country in the World. Students from all other countries are flocking to India to pursue their IT education. Once you pursue school or degree level education abroad, like in Australia, you will need to study there itself, because the entire syllabus and pattern of education there, is totally different from that practiced in India.

And as far as education in India is concerned, only the 10+2+3 pattern for any Degree, be it Arts, Science, Commerce or IT is followed and recognized. I strongly recommend you to complete your entire education in Australia itself and work there.

Regards,
