Does adopted child get preference over biologial child in case of inheritance? I heard a case where an adopted girl child claimed complete rights to inheritance over the biological child, citing (fake) ill-treatment by adoptive parents.

1) Right of inheritance is different from ill treatment.

2) Both have equal rights in property inheritance.
