Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

I am a Bangladeshi Buddhist. I used to live in Europe and while I got back my ex wife left home after 6 days in a mid night. I send her a lots of money from Europe. While I asked her about the money she did not answered and left home. After 16 days she send me a divorce notice which is not approved by the court. (It was written on a lawyers letter head and some judicial stamps). Then I have tried my best to return her with my six years old son. BUT she is not interested to get back and not even letting me to meet my son. I have been there to meet my son many times but they did not let me to meet my son and they have some local terror who threaten to kill me. Later on I informed it to the local police station. BUT story was not solved. At present she is working. She goes out every day 8 am and return home around 10/11 PM and sometimes she do not get back at home. My son living with his maternal grand mother and grand father. My ex mother in law is a tailor and ex father in law is unemployed since 17 years and at present he is practicing BLACK MAGIC like cheating which is noticed his local police station. They do not have any designated income.

My site is: My family and I, we are Europe based family since 25 years. I have a few of my personal property in a prominent city of Bangladesh where I am earning enough money.

I am not married yet and waiting to get back my son to take him with me in to Europe. Here, How can I get him back ?

We are very sorry to hear your story. However you have legal right to see your son regularly. Moreover, if you can establish that the wellbeing of your son will better be ensured in your custody, you are entitled to get his custody. In that case you need to go to a bangladeshi family court who will determine between you and your ex wife, who is better custodian for your son. This is the legal step you can take now.
