Legal Question in Family Law in India

Dear All,
I have got married in Jan'16, my wife is working in a govt school in her hometown. Before marriage it was discussed by both of our family members that she wont leave her job after marriage bcoz me & my family thought that if both of us will work it will help to make our future to be more secured. But we didnt know the fact that her family also depends on her salary. She has two younger brother & her mother in her family. Both the brothers are working but wont contribute a single penny in the family. After my marriage my wife used to come on every saturdays on my home & Monday morning she used to return back. But after two months she used to come every after two weeks. My mother & father are very old & the reason for my marriage is to less the load from my mother for maintaining the family. But due to the basic day to day work my wife started refusing from coming to my home every week. For this we started to quarrel over on this topic. Finally I asked her to resign from the Job and come to my home, I will manage a job here in my hometown. It makes her very angry & she refused to come to my home. She is pregnant also. My mom & dad went to my in laws house & ask my wife to come to our home but she refused. Now she is saying that she lodge a complaint against me & my family that we used to harass her.
Pls suggest what should I do to make myself & my family safe under law...
