Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

I'm not divorced. My wife isn't allowing me to see my son who is just one month old. She'll not give me divorce nor she will continue. Is she has the right not allowing me to see my child. I've no rights to see my son. What should i do.

Thank you very much for your question. This is a matter of great sorrow that your wife is not allowing you to see your child. As a father, you are the natural guardian of the child and you responsible for the welfare of your child. Since your son is only one-month-old therefore mother has the priority for the custody of the son (until the age of 7 of your son). However, by virtue of being the father of the child you will always have the legal control. In my opinion, you should file a Writ Petition (A writ of habeas corpus) to produce your son. This would be the quickest legal remedy for your problem. I hope the above shall help you to ascertain your legal position and take the best decision for your
