Legal Question in Family Law in India

My father in law has passed away3years back.he did not made any will.my husband is elder in family.we stay in abroad.but we went to India when my father in law passed away.he did funeral every thing n we stay their for 15days in India.when husband ask for father in laws will then my brother in law said he did not made any will.then we told show us house papers he shown to us but that paper is showing house is my father in laws name .when he purchase 9years back.My brother in law has taken full jewellery n everything.now plz tell me how My husband can get share in property what is the rule for elder son.My father in law left double storey house n my father in law give money on interest also which my brother in law kept that also with him.my husband doesn't have any sister.In my father in laws death certificate he put his name not my husband name.he was sick n hospitalise for 1month,that time also my husband came to India to take for his father in hospital.my brother in law is too cunning person.
