Legal Question in Family Law in India

My father and mother don't stay together anymore for years because of his reckless drinking mental illness and harsh behaviour. My mom has been paying for me and my little sister's fee. I don't want to burden her anymore and now I want my father to take responsibility which he won't, please suggest some way so that he can pay for my education so I can continue with my further studies.
