Legal Question in Family Law in India

My Father-in-law is a government service holder. He is in his last 3 years of his job. He has 2 children. One Girl (married to me) and one boy. His son (My Brother-in-Law) is willing to get married with a women who is already having a child. So, my father-in-law will not accept their relation and willing to Disown him (My Brother-in-Law) from property and life. Now my Brother-in-Law is threatening his parents that he will do registered married and then the girl will file a case of IPC Section 498 if they does not accept their marriage. So, if my Father-in-Law legally Disown his son, will he be still involved in the case of IPC Section 498. Please advice.
