Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

My friend have one son 4 years old and one daughter 3 years old. his wife left him few days ago. there relation is going to an end. if his wife claim divorce what will the mantenance charges on my friends end. his salary is fifty thousand and what will the child custody criteria for him.

The maintenance would be around Rs. 5000 to 8000/- for each kid.

Your friend can file the custody petition and it would be favourable if your friend proves before the court that the welfare of the kids lies with him and not with his wife.
