Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi. My husband got into IPS this year. We have been married for almost 3 years now but not spent a happy married life even for a single day. I want to divorce my husband. Can i divorce him without he agreeing for it? As he is an IPS officer does he have any powers where he can make me stay with him by force? Cant i stay away from him?

dear client u can file contested divorce petition on the ground of cruelty if he is not ready for divorce. though he is I P S then also he cannot force u to stay with him against yr will. for any legal help call me on 9422611385
