Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
Hi This is Muhammad Nasir Abbas from UAE .My wife filed a dissolution of marriage case against me plus recovery of dowry.She has got already divorce from the court but dowry case is still pending.i am here since i got married couple of years ago.My question is whether i go for Pakistan tomorrow i can face any legal matters where i have to surrender my passport from Police side or from the court side.

No. There will be no such consequences. If however a decree of maintenance has been passed against you and you have not satisfied the decree, the court may ask you to pay the amount or go to civil imprisonment.
you can face your case living there by way of appointing an attorney on your behalf who can pursue the case and defend it on your behalf.
