Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
My Power of attorney on my behalf file a civil law suite for recovery of gold from x-wife . Our lawyer did not tell us at that time that court fee is RS 25000/-. Now we got to know. I want to know is this civil law case can convert into family law case or alternatively can my power of attorney withdraw this case with possibility that I can file it again in future when I am available in pakistan and I have enough money for the civit court fee.

To recover the gold from ex-wife is a matter of family court's jurisdiction. And there's only Rs. 15/- as court fee for a family suit. And if supposedly it is a civil suit even then the maximum court fee in Islamabad is Rs. 3000/- and in other provinces it is maximum Rs. 15000/-
