Legal Question in Family Law in India

Resp.Advisor,
Myself from Latur (Maha.India) I am seeking your advice on my younger brother (age 28, unmarried) torturing my father and mother mentally and physically also because of ancestor property. We are accepting his demand and ready to give him more at what he deserve by legal norms but he demands are very huge/vague. Now he is beating them and abusing them on daily basis. He is also torturing me. We tried many times to convince him but it worthless. We are trying to log a police complaint against him but police authority only give him warning and released him they trying to convince us to settle the matter in family.
Will you please guide me what should we do

Give a complaint to higher police officials against him. Secondly, you are not bound by him. He will get the hare as per law.
