Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello Sir,

I am 60 years old(now retired from last 6 months).My first wife passed away 7 years ago and I remarried 4 years ago.i have two children from first wife and no child from second wife.My second wife tortures me a lot for property, beats me , uses abusive language and has made my life hell.I want a divorce from her.My query is incase of divorce how the property will be divided.

i have a independent house in my name and some bank balance and the pension amount.Will she be entitled to get share from all the assets that are in my name.also I am afraid she might file false harassment case against me .Please help me out.

Before she files a case to harass you, you move a divorce petition on the grounds of cruelty. Then settle with her on a lump sum amount of alimony. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
