Legal Question in Family Law in India

I ve got married one year before. Due to mental and physical harassment I want to get divorce.please someone help me how can I initiate the procedures. Not financially sound to hire a lawyer

Dear client if u r women then first file complaint against husband and his family with women cell of police under sec 498 a. U can ask monthly maintenance from husband by filling case under sec 125 of criminal procedure code. Then file divorce on the ground of cruelty. IF you are wife then you may get free advocate through legal aid but if you are husband then sorry but you have to bear expensis to hire your lawyer.
