Mesne profit is a claim in respect of profit another party has enjoyed over the claimant's right in the property without any authority.

Ordinary Civil suit is a suit under section 9 of CPC for civil claim of any nature for which the cause of action has arisen in favour of the claimant plaintiff

Whereas Summary Suit is under Order XXXVII of CPC in respect of claims arising out of written contract, promissory note, cheque, or liability arising out of statue/

mesne profits can be granted in ordinary civil suit and in summary suit, it is the interest granted upon the amount to be recovery u/o37 of CPC
