Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Sir my father rented a house in on 14/03/1985 & expired on 14/05/1985 then i along with my mother were staying in that house [in a chawl] she expired on 20/08/2008 as i had been married on 20/05/2005 & now i live in the same house with my family of 3 we are paying our rent on regular basis & have receipts till2011 but from then landlord refused to issue any receipts till now [190.00 rent for 108 sqft.] with no water he had cut the connection for the last 20 years now he is harrassing us to vacate the house now we also come to know that he is only paying tax for the said premises & do not possess any 7/12 extract or sale aggrement is he got any right to wacate us pl, help
