is it advisable to give my flat on a leave and license agreement for 36 months in Kolkata ? will the new tenancy act after modification in 2002 cover lease and license agreement also.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I strongly recommend you enter into an Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) of 11 months duration only. Besides, even if you are to renew the lease with the same Licensee, you should renew it just once. Thereafter, you should look for a new Licensee to occupy your premises.
