Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oman

Dear Sir,

have been shareing one aprtment with another family with a verbal agreement since december 2012. They have the contract with land lord in written.i was informed by them that apartment is 350RO & since the big room offered to me,i have to pay 185RO & i agreed. but now i came to know that actual value of the apartment is 250RO.

but he is not willing to reduse the price & asked me to leave the place.what can i do in this situation?

Dear Sir / Madam,

In RO 200, you will easily get a small one bedroom apartment in a small new building in Muttrah all to yourself. Why are you staying in sharing accomodation paying RO 185 ? It is quite silly. If you are staying in a sharing accomodation, RO 100 should be the maximum you should be paying, no matter how big the room.

It is in your interest to quit the place at the earliest.
