Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My husband is the youngest sun in his family. my father in law is having a property in mumbai. but his property is there forefather's property. now he is mentally unfit for taking car of his property. so my mother in law made a power of attorney on her name behalf of the my father in law. now she is saying she is signal owner of the property. now what should i do in this matter?

Dear Madam,

Unless your father in law and mother in law so desires to give your husband a share of their property (immaterial whether it is ancestral or purchased by them as long as it is in their name), there's nothing you can do about it, except to remain good to your in-laws.
