What is the right of a wife in her husbands property and her husbands ancestral property and his assets as per Roman Catholic laws in India? What is the percentage of distribution between a son and daughter on the fathers property or the fathers ancestral property and his assets as per Roman Catholic laws in India? What is the law for a Roman Catholic family inheritance if the property holder has created a will?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Roman Catholics are governed by the Diocese order in India and across the globe. A wife has a legal right in the "estate" of her husband and her husband's share in his ancestral property. 50% of the father's estate goes to the wife, and the remaining balance 50% of his estate is equally divided among the son and daughter (25% each). If the estate owner as the Testator (Maker) has willed each of the immoveable and moveable property as contained in his estate, to his family members, or to any relatives, as the beneficiaries, the Will takes precedence over the common Church order.
