Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

1) Can a property, which has been under tenancy (also known as 'Pagdi' in Mumbai, Maharashtra), be transferred to married daughters via a Will?

2) Through my will can I disown my other children and their spouses and grand children, who have ill treated me?

3) I have been told even a registered will can be disputed, how can I ensure my Will is executed as per my wishes, if it is disputed?

Background: 80+ Christian Widow, Residing in Mumbai.

1). Yes, tenancy rights can be transferred in the name of married daughters.

2). There is no such act or action as "disowning" any family member or relative. All you can do is to ensure that they in no way they benefit or gain from your acts and actions.

3). Yes, even a registered Will can be contested in the Court. You may gift your assets and / or property in the name(s) of those who you rely upon to take care of you in your time of need.

Regards,
