Were you legally adopted? If not you are not entitled to the estate of the deceased.

Your sister is the surviving heir to your dad's estate. You can have her administer the estate and thereafter transfer

a share to you (if she agrees but she is not legally obligated to so do).

Without establishing a legal father/son relationship you are not entitled to the estate of your adopted father.

If you were legally adopted then you share the estate of your dad with your sister,

A search in the name of your father at the Ministry of Legal Affairs will reveal any registered deeds
