Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in

my father had died after writing an unregistered will( with two witness..)leaving the house where he was staying, to his three sons..now this house which was bought in 1992 is registered in the joint name of my father and mother..in case if our mother, who is alive, decide to give her share to my three sisters through her will ,will it be valid.?can the brothers contest it legally?

mother can only will away her property once the same is partitioned and once the property is partitioned, your sisters would also automatically get the share of property. in case you acting upon the will, then your mother can will away her share in the property along with her husband to her daughters. you cannot contest the same.
