Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama

Felon - Primative weapons use - sporting use

Thankyou,I was convicted of a non-violent crime in 1998.After a pro se appeal in the 11th Cir.,my sentence and convictions were reversed, vacated and remanded back to the District Court with instructions.Fed.3ed-137.After plea negotiations I was still left with Felon conviction. The mandatory gun laws scare me. Can I hunt with a primative weapon.ie Black powder gun, bow. There are no laws governing the sale of these weapons. No ID checks. Anyone 18 can purchase. I read something last year in FAMM where it was illegal to possess. Have heard the type primer/cap dictates the controling statute. I enjoy hunting very much, and would never break the law.The thought of going back to prison for not knowing ,or enjoying my once Constatutional right frightens me. Please clarify - case law if possible. Will I ever get my rights back? Respectfully submitted, scarred to hunt!

Hi,read your frightened plea.but it is mandatory to have a licence to use the weapons as per the state law of my state.so just use it according to the state law of your state.also you need to file one affidavit in the office of stste armament department & the concerned court.so contact your attorney in the previous case.

THANKS & REGARDS,
