Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama

theft/burglary

I have been charged with theft 2nd and burglary but I returned the items and thats how they found out. Told the cops everything and gave witness to the other person with me. But I was ready to go swear in to the army and am now trying to figure out what I can do about it. I there anyway I still would be able to join?

Yes if you can get the DA to charge with a lesser charge for something as a misdemeanor, such as theft of property 3rd instead of burglary. You need a lawyer to talk for you in the back room to get this done.
