Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

child custody

My ex and I have joint custody. He being primary residence. There is to be no member of the opposite sex to spend the night over while the child is there. He has moved in with his girlfriend with my five year old daughter. She sometimes sleeps with both of them in the same bed. Today is May 11.2003. The divorce was just signed May25,2003. I don't have a job at present. I do have SS benfits coming in monthly. Isn't he in contempt of court? What happens when you are in contempt?

Re: child custody

He may very well be in contempt. You should get with your attorney. You may have more than one option. You could file a motion to hold him in contempt of court, or, you might be able to set the divorce aside. You should get with your attorney as soon as possible.
