Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

My ex husband wants to claim 2 of the 3 children on his taxes this year. Our divorce papers do say that one year i claim 2, him 1, then him,2 me 1 etc:::. It is his year for the 2. He is 7000 dollars behind in child support. Can he legally claim them when he hasn't supported them.

He has a right to anything the divorce decree allows him to do.

However, being he is $7000 behind in child support you need to have an attorney follow up on that past due amount. That is money taken away from your children. He should be held in contempt, please contact me if I can help.
