Time for divorce in Alabama

I and my spouse are in the military and have been legally seperated for 2 1/2 months. I am a legal resident of the state of Alabama and he, the Common Wealth of Virginia. What is the legal time limit for seperation before I can apply for a divorce through the state of Alabama?

There is no required separation time in Alabama before you can file for divorce.
