Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Alabama

My father recently passed away; leaving a wife, with whom he had 5 children. While married, he cheated with my mother and from that union my two sisters and I were born. Now, my mother worked with my father and his wife at his business for over 20 years but once he passed his wife fired her stating,"I don't have enough money to pay you." At the moment I am 20 yrs old with two sisters who are 24 and the youngest 12. Is there any possible way to take legal precautions against the wife? Plus, by common law, didn't my father have two wives?

It is not possible to have two wives, either by common law or by statute.
