Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Alabama

My landlord will not fix my air but of course expect me to keep paying rent. Its other things need to be fixed in my apartment. what would be the first thing to do on this matter?

REview the Landlord Tenant Act in Alabama. He does not have to fix the AC, but he does have to keep the place habitable. If he does not, you can breach the lease and leave --IF you do so according to the terms of the act. Look it up and follow it.
